LAUREL VIEW COUNTRY CLUB IS PLEASED TO INTRODUCE NEW HEAD PGA PROFESSIONAL TONY ROBERTO
Laurel View Country Club is excited to announce the hiring of Tony Roberto as its new Head PGA Professional. As seasoned golf pro, Tony has served as the Head Professional and Director of Golf at many of the top courses in Arizona, California, Florida, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
Tony comes to Laurel View after performing most recently as the Head Professional at Blackledge Country Club in Hebron, CT a 36 hole facility featuring 2 golf shops. During his tenure Tony expanded the teaching programs for women, youths, and wounded warriors as well as deploying a new golf cart program.
Tony served 12 years for the Connecticut Section PGA Board of Directors/Executive Board. A skilled merchandiser with a track record of Pro Shop growth, Tony is a 6 time recipient of the Merchandiser of the Year Award.
In addition to his professional resume, Tony’s media credits include serving as a contributing editor to the Golf Product News, PGA Magazine, and PubLinks as well as a CBS and Fox Sports featured live instructor.
Tony’s playing career includes holding five individual course records and playing on a NCAA National Champion during his time at Florida Southern where he also graduated with a B.S in Business Management/Finance.
